Venture into the jungle of the Gunung Leuser National Park in search of wild orangutans and gibbons, trek through stunning forest, spend time with local rangers learning how they protect wildlife and support communities, take part in a traditional cooking lesson, visit the bustling markets of Medan city, and travel to Lake Toba; a picturesque paradise with breathtaking panoramic vistas and the most incredible scenery this part of Sumatra has to offer.

A special part of the adventure includes a day trip to the brand new Orangutan Haven, the world's newest eco-park where Sumatran orangutans affected by human-wildlife conflict now live.

This trip is adventurous, educational, and the perfect blend of culture, community, and conservation.

Please note

This expedition requires a minimum of 6 participants to go ahead - do not book your flights until your leader has confirmed minimum numbers have been reached. There is a maximum of 8 participants on this expedition. You will not be required to room share.

Travel insurance is compulsory and you will need to provide proof of this prior to travel.
